Germany: Nigerian Embassy sets up Public Complaints Unit, warns against paying for appointments for passport issuance.

The Nigerian Embassy in Germany has called on those looking for appointment for passport issuance to desist from patronising touts.

In a statement published on its website, the embassy also appealed to Nigerians to report anybody seeking payment from them for the purpose of helping them get appointments.

“In a bid to mitigate fraudulent activities meted on innocent/unsuspecting Nigerians, the Embassy has established a ‘Public Complaints Unit’ that will receive and process complaints about such illegal activities,” the statement announced.
